News / Announcements

eReporting Availability: 2008-2009 data in the Trauma eReporting System

The National Trauma Registry at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is pleased to officially announce the availability of Injury Hospitalization data from the National Trauma Registry Minimum Dataset. The data for 2008-2009 can be found in the eNTR reporting service available through Client Services at www.cihi.ca.

The 2008-2009 NTR MDS data includes demographic, administrative and clinical data on all patients hospitalized due to Trauma in all acute care facilities in Canada, with the exception of facilities in Quebec. Information may be of particular value to researchers, health care facility planners, regional health authorities, ministries of health and others for exploring areas such as patient characteristics, injury prevention and outcomes.

Please contact the National Trauma Registry at NTR@cihi.ca with any questions or comments about eNTR, or visit the NTR website at www.cihi.ca/ntr.
